Another memory quilt done. This goes into the mail today.

The quilt is full of words reflecting the young girl's missionary heart, like "orphans, Uganda, Africa, missionary". I brought the back forward for the binding. I had trouble getting the right needle/thread combination for this to quilt smoothly. Lots of breaks and frustration, but I'm pleased with the outcome.
With some of the extra blocks I did the strip across the back, using the leg of a pair of baby jeans there in the center. And while I had cut up some little stocking for blocks, I couldn't bare to cut these little socks, so I just put them on the back of the quilt too. Everyone needs to remember how small they once were.
