When I got home today there was a new, old machine sitting on my porch. A friend of the family gave us her grandmother's portable, White, electric machine. It has a big carrying case and all the attachments and still runs!
Looking forward to seeing what this one will do. It's in really nice shape.
Okay, that now makes 6 vintage machines (at the house). 2 machines not brought home yet...my mom's first machine and my great-grandmother's on my dad's side...still at his aunt's. Then there are the 2 Singer's 70's models in their cabinets, my Brother's and my mom's quilting machine. Sally took home her Brother and one of mom's machines...plus the sergers (2). We really could start our own factory. I've lost count how many we have now! Oh, wait...Sally has another vintage at her house!
